Answer WhatsApp messages in your Inbox.

Requirements: A WhatsApp Business Cloud API account in Meta Business.

Create the app

1. Open developers.facebook.com and create a Business app with WhatsApp.
2. Add a phone number and copy its Phone number ID.
3. Create a permanent access token (System users in Meta Business settings) with whatsapp_business_messaging.
4. Copy the app secret from App settings › Basic.

Connect it

1. In Chatumi open Channels › Add channel › WhatsApp.
2. Paste the app secret, access token and phone number ID, and choose a verify token.
3. Copy the webhook address shown.
4. In Meta open WhatsApp › Configuration, paste the webhook address and verify token, and subscribe to messages.

Good to know

You can reply freely for 24 hours after the customer's last message. After that, they need to message you first.
