Terms of service

The agreement between you and Chatumi for using Chatumi.

The service

Chatumi lets you add a chat and a support bot to your website, answer customers from a shared inbox and manage billing. These terms apply when you create an account or use the service.

Who provides it

The service is provided by Saurav Shinde (sole proprietor, trading as Chatumi) (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@chatumi.com or Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Square, Pusad, Maharashtra 445204, India.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and use the service for your business, trade or profession. If you sign up for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

Your account

You must give accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including the actions of teammates you invite.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to send spam, break the law, collect data without permission, or harm other people or systems. Our Acceptable use policy at /acceptable-use explains what is not allowed. We may suspend workspaces that break it.

Your content

You own the content you add and the chats with your customers. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you.

Bot answers

The bot answers from the material you provide. Check important answers, such as prices or legal terms, and keep your material up to date. We are not responsible for decisions made only on an automated answer.

Plans and payment

Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until cancelled. Crypto plans are prepaid for the period you choose. Lifetime plans are paid once and stay active for as long as the service is offered, subject to these terms. Prices include the taxes shown at checkout.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel a paid plan at any time under Billing; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow our Refund and cancellation policy at /refund-policy: new plans and lifetime plans can be refunded in full if you ask within 7 days of paying, and a renewal can be refunded within 7 days if the account was not used after it renewed.

Coupons

Coupons apply only to the plans and periods stated, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be withdrawn at any time before use.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit.

Ending

You can close your workspace at any time from Settings. We may end accounts that break these terms. You can export your data before closing.

Your customers’ data

When the bot chats with visitors on your website, you decide what is collected and we process it only for you, as described in our Privacy policy and our Data processing agreement at /dpa.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to our grievance officer, Saurav Shinde (support@chatumi.com), first; we aim to resolve complaints within 15 days. Any dispute that cannot be settled this way is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pusad and Yavatmal, Maharashtra, India.
